Teacher Education Deferral, Withdrawal, or Change in Program Pathway Form

Please note teacher candidates must contact their program coordinator and academic advisor to discuss deferring, withdrawing or a change of program area from teacher candidacy. Failure to complete these steps may result in removal from the teacher preparation program. Re-entry into the teacher preparation program requires communication with the program coordinator and completion of Teacher Candidacy Orientation. For students who have withdrawn, re-admittance into the teacher candidacy programs requires candidates to complete the admission process for graduate school and the interview process within the college. Please consult with your advisor to determine the specific steps to be taken should you decide to return. There will be no option for re-admittance, if the withdrawal process is not followed.
